Underclassmen Fellowship: An Intensive Introduction to Finance
Weiss Asset Management invites applications for our 2026 Underclassmen Fellowship in Boston. The Fellowship is a two-day intensive program designed for underclassmen interested in a career in finance. This fellowship serves as a gateway to future internships and full-time roles within the company. The Fellowship is awarded to a select cohort of outstanding students in their freshman and sophomore year of college. This program is only open to current Freshmen and Sophomores (Classes of 2028 and 2029). If selected, students will join us in our Boston office in early January (exact dates to be announced). All selected students will have their transportation and hotel costs fully covered. High-performing fellows may be considered for future internship opportunities.

The internship focuses on fundamental analysis and offers exposure to various investment strategies, requiring deep research skills and a passion for understanding complex markets. As a summer analyst at WAM, you will collaborate closely with our investment team, which invests globally in equities, derivatives, and fixed income through fundamental and quantitative strategies. With a primary emphasis on fundamental analysis, this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a range of our investment strategies. High-performing interns are typically offered full-time positions upon graduation.

Compensation
The base salary range for this Summer 2027 Investment Analyst Internship role is $15,000 to $17,000 per month.
