UCF Knights Softball: Rising Through the Ranks in the Big 12 Conference
The UCF softball team has been making waves, earning national recognition and solidifying its position as a competitive force. National Recognition and Rankings
The UCF softball team has re-joined the national top 25 rankings. This achievement follows a perfect 6-0 week for the Knights. The team's performance earned them the No. 23 spot in the nation. This marks the second time this season that UCF has been ranked, with an earlier appearance at No. 25 following a 4-2 showing in week two, including a notable 5-1 victory over then-No. 21 Baylor.
The Knights are in good company within the top 25, joined by fellow Big 12 schools Texas Tech (No. 2), Oklahoma State (No. 13), and Arizona (No. 18). Furthermore, other future opponents, including Florida (No. 8), Nebraska (No. 9), Georgia (No. 12), LSU (No. 16), and Penn State, are also ranked, highlighting the challenging competition UCF faces.
