Residence Hall Location and Amenities

Residence halls that are centrally located or offer special amenities may have higher costs. For instance, Libra and Apollo are the most centrally located residence halls on campus.

Agreement Length

UCF offers different agreement lengths, including Academic Agreements (two semesters) and Annual Agreements (three semesters).

  • Academic Agreement: Includes the option of living at specific communities for TWO semesters (Fall and Spring).
  • Annual Agreement: Includes the option of living at specific communities for THREE semesters (Fall, Spring, and the following Summer).

Living Learning Communities (LLCs)

Students in Living Learning Communities (LLCs) may have additional costs or specific housing requirements. LLCs are a great opportunity for first-year students to connect to a smaller community and engage in unique experiences. All LLCs (besides Honors) reside in Academic Agreement communities. Honor students have the opportunity to be in the Honors Living Learning Community which is located in Tower III. Students who are interested in living in this community MUST apply for a Towers Agreement.

Lottery System

Academic-year (Nike and Hercules apartments), Towers at Knights Plaza, and NorthView housing applications for returning residents, upperclassman, and off-campus students, will operate on a lottery system. Rosen housing applications will operate on a first come, first served basis. Apply and submit your prepayment during the lottery or application window in order to be considered for the type of housing you have selected.

Housing Options for Transfer and Graduate Students

The majority of transfer and graduate students live off-campus around the UCF/Orlando area. There is limited on-campus housing available. Transfer or Graduate students are eligible to live at our NorthView community and Rosen College Apartments. Transfer or Graduate students may apply to live at NorthView through the lottery system. We highly recommend searching for off-campus housing options, as on-campus housing is very limited for upperclassmen or returning residents.
