If you are starting your schedule from scratch, the first step is to use the Class Search function. This tool allows you to search for classes meeting specific criteria. For example, if you need a course that fulfills the GEP-Cultural & Historical Foundations requirement and is offered by the Philosophy department, you can use Class Search to find suitable options. Once you identify a course, such as REL 2300, make a note of it to add to mySchedule Builder.

Building Your Schedule

Next, use the mySchedule Builder application to add the courses you’ve identified to your schedule. For instance, you might want to add REL 2300 and MAC 1105C. When you click "Generate Schedules," the application will display all of the sections of REL 2300 along with all of the MAC 1105C sections that do not conflict with it. This feature helps you visualize potential schedules and quickly identify conflicts.

Adding Courses to mySchedule Builder

To begin using mySchedule Builder, simply open the application through the myUCF Student Center. Enter the subject prefixes and course numbers you are interested in, such as MAC 1105C, BSC 2010C, CGS 2100C, and ECO 2013, into the "Add Course" area. The application will then generate possible schedules based on the available sections and your specified constraints.
