UCF Flag Football Program: Building Momentum and Community
The UCF flag football program offers a recreational opportunity with inherent risks of injury, demanding informed consent and a commitment to safety. Participants, through their parent or guardian, acknowledge these risks, including potential for serious bodily injury or even death, and affirm their willingness to assume responsibility. Prior consultation with a physician is strongly advised before participation. By agreeing to the terms, participants waive any legal rights to seek payment from the Central Florida Dreamplex, its employees, or agents for injuries or death resulting from the program, releasing them from liability. It's crucial to understand that the Central Florida Dreamplex does not provide insurance coverage for participants. In emergency situations where contact with parents or guardians is not possible or time is critical, program supervisors are authorized to make decisions and act on behalf of the participant's welfare. Furthermore, full consent is given to allow the Central Florida Dreamplex to use the participant's photo, video, and likeness for promotional purposes, including exhibitions, publications, commercials, and advertising, without compensation.
