In the third Cupcake Bugs game, the kiddos actively remembered the location of the keys with the help of visual key groups, then-as with the girls above and my 8-year-old below-they moved on to tapping the actual keyboard.

- Sound Effects: Some students may find the sound effects distracting. Fortunately, the sound effects can be easily muted. I didn’t really like all the sound effects, so I just kept my iPad on mute when I used the program.
- Keyboard Compatibility: One student noted occasional keyboard compatibility issues. This may be related to specific devices or user preferences. To be honest, TypeTastic is not my favorite app. It is so wonky sometimes with my keyboard. I think it is because of how I like to use my thumbs when I type (text), so it is pushing me out of my zone.
