The Little Learning Preschool: Nurturing Future Generations Through Comprehensive Early Education
The Little Learning Preschool (LLA) is more than just a childcare center; it's a family serving families, dedicated to investing in the future by nurturing young minds. Recognizing that the early years are crucial for a child's lifelong success, LLA provides a stimulating environment where children develop essential skills and a love for learning. Located in Fort Worth, TX, the Little Learning Preschool specializes in infant care, toddler care, preschool, and school-aged care.
The Importance of Quality Preschool Education
Research consistently demonstrates that children who participate in high-quality preschool programs develop stronger language skills, greater social-emotional understanding, and a lasting enthusiasm for learning. These early experiences equip children with the skills they need to form friendships, manage their emotions, overcome challenges, and explore the world with curiosity and confidence. These aren't just school readiness skills; they're life readiness skills.
A Holistic Approach to Development
At LLA, social-emotional development is at the heart of everything they do because healthy minds and bodies build lifelong success. The preschool goes beyond academics to create an environment where students are encouraged, celebrated, and valued. LLA's curriculum, carefully selected by Dr. Deb Zupito, Ed.D., incorporates literacy, math, science, Spanish, sign language, and plenty of play.
Comprehensive Programs for Every Age
The Little Learning Preschool offers a range of programs tailored to meet the unique needs of children at different stages of development:

Curriculum and Learning Environment
LLA utilizes the Beyond Centers and Circle Time curriculum to create engaging lesson plans. Each week, children participate in activities centered around a theme, exploring stories, art projects, songs, and activities that promote gross motor, fine motor, math, language, and science skills. Intentional instruction in emerging reading, writing, and math skills is integrated throughout the day as children rotate through various learning stations.

The Importance of Art and Music
Preschool children are given the opportunity to create art on a daily basis. Some art projects are structured i.e. gluing objects such as cotton or button and precut items on a construction paper canvass. Others are much more free-flowing like painting at an easel.
Art is so important not only to express a creative side, it’s also important to strengthen hand muscles, fine motor skills and eye hand coordination which builds the foundation for writing.
Music is done with children daily during circle. Children will learn simple songs in English and, for those children interested, songs in Spanish will be taught as well! Activities that teach simple Spanish vocabulary is also provided to interested students. Many music and art activities are created to align with the monthly character building theme or the weekly instructional theme.
A Supportive and Secure Environment
The Little Learning Preschool prioritizes safety and security. The facility features secure entry with keypad access and video monitoring in classrooms and hallways. The playground is designed to be safe, fun, and state-of-the-art, offering plenty of room for children to run, climb, explore, and play.
The main entrance is locked at all times. Each family receives two access badges that allow parents or guardians to enter the building.

Dedicated and Qualified Staff
LLA's teachers are considered "rock stars," and the preschool provides them with ample support and resources. This includes paid training and career development, a relaxing lounge and break room, and mental health support. The team enjoys perks like surprise gifts, fun team-building events, and opportunities for paid days off.
Most teachers will have a BA degree or an AS degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Studies or another related field; we also have teachers that have gone through the CDA and TECTA programs that are certificate programs designed for staff who do not have degrees, but teach them about development and practices from birth to five.
Communication and Parent Involvement
Communication between teachers and families is facilitated through platforms like Brightwheel, allowing for easy sharing of pictures, messages, and updates. Parent conferences are an integral part of the Little Learning program, providing families with comprehensive reviews of their child's growth and progress.
