Temple University Rome's Bachelor's Degree Program offers students a unique opportunity to complete their undergraduate studies at Temple's campus in Rome, Italy. This is a full-time program with a minimum of 12 credits per semester. Upon fulfilling their Bachelor's Degree requirements, students graduate with an American undergraduate degree from a top-tier, globally recognized university, while exposing themselves to an international mindset that is highly sought-after in the professional world.

Temple Rome's Adult Study Abroad (ASA) Program offers a unique opportunity for adults to immerse themselves in Italian culture and history while earning college credit. The program includes a base program with required courses and the option to choose a Primary Focus course for a more specialized learning experience.

Base Program Courses
The base program is included in the program fee and is taken by all ASA participants. It consists of the following courses:
- Italian Language & Culture: This course focuses on everyday vocabulary and phrases, with "Italian Tutors" providing conversational practice. Weekly Cultural Labs offer real-world application of language skills and cultural insights.
- Italian Film Seminar: This seminar explores Italian society through cinema, discussing topics such as fascism, family dynamics, gender roles, political instability, rural poverty, organized crime, and immigration.
In addition to the base program courses, each ASA participant must choose one primary “study track” each semester which consists of their primary subject course. Each primary subject course meets twice per week at archaeological, cultural and historical sites throughout the city of Rome. The following study tracks / primary subject courses are offered :

- Roma Moderna: Participants explore sites relevant to the contemporary history and character of Rome, from the Risorgimento to Postwar Italy. The course analyzes these sites through the lenses of History, Architecture & Urban Development, Political Science, and Anthropology.
Elective Courses
ASA participants can also choose from a variety of elective courses for an additional fee. These courses typically meet once per week off campus and offerings may vary from one semester to the next. Some popular electives include:
- Artists & Artisans: This course explores the rich tradition of handmade crafts in Rome, examining the historical context and visiting local artisans to observe their techniques.
- Multicultural Rome: This course examines the impact of migration on urban development, exploring hidden monuments and urban spaces to understand social bonds, belonging, and identity.
- Architecture of Modern Rome: This course explores the architecture of Rome beyond the historical center, examining housing and urban design strategies from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. The course involves neighborhood walks, building interior tours, and sketching or photography.

Italian Language Studies
Temple Rome strongly encourages all students to study Italian language, offering courses for all levels from beginner to advanced.
- Italian 1001: Required for fall and spring semester students with no prior college-level Italian. Students may choose between Italian 1001 or the Beginner Italian Combined courses (1001 and 1002 in one semester for 8 credits).
- Italian Language and Literature Courses: Available at various levels.
