Finding and Applying for Jobs
The primary platform for finding on-campus jobs at SDSU is Handshake. Through Handshake, many part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities across the campus are posted and available to SDSU students. Hundreds of jobs are not filled until after classes begin, and jobs are available throughout the academic year. Students can log in using their SDSUid credentials and search for available positions. The Library encourages students to look for the application a month or so before each new semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) and apply for each semester, you are seeking employment.
Key Considerations for Applicants
Eligibility: To be eligible for most student positions, students must be enrolled at SDSU for a minimum of 6 undergraduate units or 5 graduate units. 799A/B with a letter may meet the graduate requirement. Student employees must be available to work on campus.
