Financial Aid and Affordability
The Storm King School is committed to making education accessible to qualified students. For the 2025-2026 academic year, the school awarded nearly $3.2 million in need-based grants to its students and their families.
Clarity Application
Beginning in 2025, The Storm King School partners with Clarity to process financial aid applications. Based on the financial information provided, Clarity will use a standard calculation to determine an estimated amount that a family can contribute toward educational expenses. Storm King’s Financial Aid Committee uses this estimation as a starting point from which to determine a financial aid award.
As part of the Clarity Application, instructions are provided about submitting required documents directly to Clarity. International students will be prompted by Clarity to upload financial documentation. In order to be eligible for financial aid, a financial aid application must be submitted each year.
Special Circumstances
Documentation must be provided to explain a change in circumstances (i.e. change of employment, extreme health concerns, etc.). A letter should be sent to the Office of Financial Aid which describes the change of circumstances that precipitates the need for financial assistance.
Applying for the 2026-27 School Year
Applications are being accepted for the 2026-27 school year.
