Conveniently Located at the Heart of Campus
Starbucks is one of the newest additions on the second floor. Conveniently located in the Student Union at the heart of campus, it’s simply a must-see. The long-awaited renovation of the Student Union will be unveiled when the Heart of Campus reopens Aug. 8 with limited hours. Regular operating hours are planned to resume Friday, Aug. The three-year project saw its final phase of renovations completed just in time for campus to welcome back students for the fall semester.
A Menu to Satisfy Every Craving

In addition to Starbucks, the UCF campus offers a variety of dining options to cater to different tastes and preferences. At Knightcade you can enjoy everything from wings, flat bread pizza, Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese, your favorite drink, and more! Huey Magoo’s offers hearty chicken tender meals, fries, and of course their signature Texas Toast. Knightstop offers something for everyone’s needs. Panda Express features Mandarin and Szechwan wok-cooked entrées, and sides for lunch and dinner. Favorites are beef with broccoli, orange chicken, and kung pao chicken. In the mood for tacos, burritos, salads, and more? The options are endless! Which Wich boasts Superior Sandwiches - serves custom-crafted sandwiches, wraps and salads with over 60 toppings to create a masterpiece. Smoothie King offers their guests the industry’s first and original nutritional fruit and function-based, fresh blended smoothies. They offer healthy retail product solutions such as sport beverages, energy bars, healthy snacks, vitamin supplements, herbs, minerals, and sports nutrition products. In addition, they also offer salads and fresh fruit cups. Halal Shack pulls inspiration from the Mediterranean and Middle East to take a twist on American wraps and bowls.
More Than Just Coffee: Services and Amenities at the Student Union
The Student Union, where Starbucks is located, offers a range of services and amenities for the UCF community. College Optical Express offers a wide range of services at reasonable prices such as eye exams, contact lenses, prescription glasses as well as sunglasses.

Seats will be set in small clusters of 1-4 seats to allow for small group study and conversation. A maximum of four individuals will be able to use this non-denominational meditation and prayer space at once. The desk will be operational during the Union’s regular business hours. The ticketing center will be reopening Tuesday, Sept. 8. The Student Union oversees both locations at Knights Plaza and Ferrell Commons, which will reopen Monday, Aug. In order to host an in-person event, facial coverings and social distancing measures are required for both indoor and outdoor spaces. All event spaces will have fixed setups with limited modifications. Clients will be fully responsible for enforcement and must submit a safety plan at least two weeks prior to the event.
Supporting Students: Food Pantry and VCentials
The main campus food pantry for students started as a closet in the Student Union more than 10 years ago. All students are welcome to use the pantry’s services. Please note, the pantry will be closed Aug. 10-14 for inventory and reorganizing but will resume operations Aug. It currently offers curbside pickup of food items, and starting Aug. 24 will offer in-store shopping by appointment only for clothing and miscellaneous items. In-store appointments and curbside pickup will both be arranged in advance via an online form. While the pantry is still accepting food donations, pantry staff kindly requests no clothing donations at this time. In times of need, Valencia College students can turn to VCentials. and members of the Valencia College community.
Additional Dining Options Across Campus
From smart markets to cafés, you have a variety of offerings to choose from. Pounce Cafés are located on East, Osceola and West campuses. Pounce Cafés will be closed on Fridays. All "We Proudly Serve Starbucks" counters have Grubhub kiosks for ordering. the Grubhub app for purchase on Wednesdays only. Pounce Cafés are cashless and accept credit and debit cards only. There's no need to wait in line for food when you fine-tune your pick-up game. and West campus VC cafeterias. plates, beverages and more. Dr. Vending machines are available across all Valencia College campuses.
Starbucks Rewards and Customization Options
As part of its commitment to customer satisfaction, Starbucks provides a rewards program that offers new members a free handcrafted drink with their first qualifying purchase. Additionally, customers can customize their drinks with a variety of nondairy milk options at no extra charge, enhancing their overall experience at participating locations.
