Financial Need and Award Amounts
Scholarship awards vary from $500 to $25,000 per student per academic year. Awards are disbursed directly to students to maximize support beyond institutional aid and are based on financial need and the quality of essay responses. SHPE has adjusted the award timeline to ensure students receive notifications earlier.
Sponsoring a scholarship is a tangible way to help students who are struggling with day-to-day financial challenges. Many students also report worries about food insecurity and housing insecurity, highlighting the real-life impacts of those financial burdens.
