  • Automotive Technology: The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment in the Automotive industry will expand five percent between 2014 and 2024. Graduates of STC’s Automotive Technology programs learn the technological and mechanical skills to keep today’s increasingly complex cars safely on the roads. STC offers training in Automotive Technology ranging from maintenance techniques and electronic systems diagnostics to performance technology.

  • Early Childhood Care & Education: The Early Childhood Care & Education program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in the field of early childhood education. The program emphasizes a combination of early childhood care and education theory and practical application as well as limited general core competencies necessary for successful employment.

  • Practical Nursing: The Practical Nursing diploma program is designed to prepare students to write the NCLEX-PN for licensure as practical nurses. The program prepares graduates to give competent nursing care. This is done through a selected number of academic and occupational courses providing a variety of techniques and materials necessary to assist the student in acquiring the needed knowledge and skills to give competent care. A variety of clinical experiences is planned so that theory and practice are integrated under the guidance of the clinical instructor.

  • Accounting: STC’s Accounting Associate Degree program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in today's technology-driven workplaces. The skills students acquire in this program help them to not only secure a job in accounting, but to excel and advance in the field. Students obtaining an accounting associates degree will be able to enter the workforce with the skills necessary to handle an array of financial and managerial accounting tasks, including maintaining a set of books for business entities, current and long-term liabilities, cost behavior and cost-volume-profit analysis budgets, capital investment analysis, and many more.

  • Commercial Truck Driving: The Commercial Truck Driving Certificate program provides basic training in the principles and skills of commercial truck operations. The program is based on the definition of a truck driver as one who operates a commercial motor vehicle of all different sizes and descriptions on all types of roads.

  • Diesel Equipment Technology: The Diesel Equipment Technology program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare students for careers in the diesel equipment service and repair profession. Learning opportunities enable students to develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of truck, heavy equipment, marine systems, or emergency power generator repair theory and practical application necessary for successful employment depending on the specialization area a student chooses to complete.

Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance

The Financial Services Department at Southeastern College is dedicated to helping students finance their education.

  • Financial Aid: The objective of the Financial Services Department at Southeastern College is to provide assistance to students who need financial aid in order to pay for tuition expenses at the College. Southeastern College uses the “Free Application for Federal Students Aid” to document and collect information for determining the student’s eligibility for financial aid. The information that the student reports on the FASFA is confidential. The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), should be submitted by the end of the first week of the semester the student begins classes in.

  • Tuition Assistance (TA): Tuition Assistance funds are a unique, distinct source of financial aid available to eligible Service members, TA is used as a first payer. Active Duty students MUST meet with their respective branch of service to ensure TA funding is available and learn about the application process and responsibility of the student before they enroll in any class.

  • Cohort Default Rate (CDR): For schools having 30 or more borrowers entering repayment in a fiscal year, the school’s cohort default rate (CDR) is the percentage of a school’s borrowers who enter repayment on certain Federal Family Education Loans (FFELs) and/or William D. Southeastern College maintains a full-time Director of Financial Aid at each campus to help meet your needs. You’re encouraged to make appointments with the Director of Financial Aid to ensure that you obtain the funding needed for your educational investment. Southeastern College has been determined to be an eligible institution by the United States Department of Education to participate in Federal Title IV financial aid programs. Student Life and Activities

SEC offers a vibrant student life with various activities and opportunities for engagement.

  • Sports Pass: A sports pass provides access to all home football games for the regular season, plus the opportunity to attend home events for all other ticketed sports during both the fall and spring semesters on a first-come, first-served basis. This option includes all sports pass benefits noted above, plus one prepaid guest ticket for each regular season home football game. The guest ticket will be issued alongside the student ticket, and the guest must enter the stadium with the sports pass holder. Both tickets will be located in the student section, where standing is customary. The spring sports pass is designed for students who want to purchase a sports pass when they complete spring semester registration, which begins on Nov. 6. Once registered, the spring sports pass grants access to all non-football home regular season ticketed sporting events on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible spring sports include men's basketball, women's basketball, indoor and outdoor track & field, baseball and softball.

  • Sports Pass Policies: As ticket holders, sports pass holders understand and abide by the 12th Man Foundation Donor & Ticket Policies which includes the Student Sports Pass Resale Policy: Resale of student tickets (home, road or postseason) and sports options for profit is prohibited. Students' sports options are heavily subsidized by season ticket holders. Former Students and Aggie fans have long been committed to maintaining the quality and size of the student allotment. In return, Texas A&M students, the 12th Man, are expected to honor this commitment. These tickets, home and away, are for student use only. Students found to be in violation of this policy will be penalized.

  • Access to Sporting Events: Your sports pass gives you access to all regular-season home events for other sports - first come, first served. Accessible student seating at Kyle Field is reserved for students with needs that prevent standing during games. These seats are located in Sections 231-232, 236-237 (second deck) and Section 120 (first deck). To request ADA seating during ticket pull, log in to your 12th Man Foundation account and follow the pull instructions. The first and second decks of the student seating area can be accessed via ADA-accessible elevators located at Entry 7 and Entry 9 on the east side of Kyle Field. Entry 7, closer to the north end, faces the University Center Garage, while Entry 9, closer to the south end, faces Aggie Park. Additionally, escalators in the northeast tower provide access to both the first and second decks. CT each classification day. Creating or joining a group does not pull your ticket.
