Scholarship Prep: Nurturing Dreams and Building Futures in Santa Ana

Scholarship Prep is a 501c3 public non-profit network of charter schools serving TK-8th grade students across Southern California, including two locations in Santa Ana. More than a school, Scholarship Prep is where elementary and middle school students build the skills, confidence, and knowledge to achieve their dreams. Committed to creating community change, Scholarship Prep operates university-inspired, trauma-informed schools for all students, especially those experiencing homelessness or those in the foster care system.

A Foundation for College and Career Readiness

At Scholarship Prep, the path to college starts early. The focus on college and career readiness starts early, preparing TK-8 students for success now and in the future. Classrooms are named after renowned universities, such as UCLA, Harvard, and Stanford, cultivating a sense of pride, belonging, and ambition. From class discussions about college campus traditions to decorations that reflect the spirit of higher learning, university-themed classrooms make college feel real, exciting, and achievable for every student.

Scholars develop the confidence and skills needed for high school, college, and beyond through leadership programs, financial literacy lessons, career events, and visits to college campuses.

Enriched Learning Through Electives and Problem-Based Learning

Every student at Scholarship Prep benefits from a variety of electives that promote creativity and teamwork. From arts to athletics, these programs introduce students to exciting opportunities that can lead to scholarships and personal growth.

Students tackle meaningful questions that promote critical thinking and collaboration through problem-based learning. These engaging lessons help them connect what they learn in the classroom to the world around them.
