Financial Aid and Affordability Programs
Salisbury School recognizes that access and affordability are two of the most important themes for the future of private school education. As part of the mission, The Salisbury School believes the diverse community is a valuable asset and is committed to sustaining this for future generations. We care deeply about every student's growth, happiness, and success, including the well-being of their families. Salisbury is proud to be a prestigious Connecticut boarding school offering financial aid to many of its students. Even if you don’t qualify for assistance, however, there are several reasons to consider a Salisbury education for your son.
Financial need varies, of course, based on one’s income and assets. Please do not hesitate to apply to Salisbury because of the tuition cost. While there are more applicants for aid than we can support, even with our generous budget, it would be a mistake to opt out of the admissions process based on an assumption that our education is not affordable.
Tailored Tuition Program
The Salisbury School takes pride in providing a custom-tailored educational experience to every student and family, which is why they've developed the Tailored Tuition program. Currently, 28% of The Salisbury School community takes part in the Tailored Tuition Program, and they aim to grow this in 2026.
The school utilizes a third-party platform to process Tailored Tuition Program online applications. Based on the financial information you provide on this comprehensive form, The Salisbury School will receive an estimated amount your family can contribute towards tuition. The Salisbury School urges you to complete and submit all required documents by March 1st. While we carefully consider applications received during the spring and summer, we cannot guarantee that additional tuition funding sources will be available.
