MCC offers over 90+ degree and certificate programs, providing a wide array of academic paths to choose from. To begin, make an appointment to see an admission counselor to discuss your goals and possible major program of study. Middlesex College provides flexible learning options, including on-campus, online, hybrid, and hyflex courses, to accommodate various student needs and schedules. These options allow students to complete classes in a shorter time period, mirroring the same hours as courses scheduled during the traditional 15-week semester.
Determining Course Placement
Before enrolling in a program of study, most students are required to determine their course placement in reading, writing, and mathematics. In many instances, students can place into college-level courses by using multiple measures, such as high school GPA, SAT, ACT, GED, and HiSet scores. For students not meeting the multiple measure requirements, they can use a guided self-placement process for English and Math.
New Student Advising and Registration
New and transfer students who have submitted all applicable transcripts are invited to sign up for New Student Advising to register for classes. Easily accessible advisors are available to assist you throughout the registration process.

Financial Aid and Affordability
Middlesex College strives to make education accessible and affordable. Students pay about $4,635 per year. The Financial Aid office can help you complete your FAFSA and apply for grants, loans, or work-study. The college has given $12 million in scholarships to over 15,000 students. You can complete one application to apply for 125 different scholarships on campus. A payment plan allows you to spread your tuition into four equal payments. Students who graduate in the top 15% of their high school class may qualify for the NJ STARS program.
