You will use D2L to access your classes throughout the semester. To access D2L, go to myPikesPeak Portal and locate the myCourses (D2L) card on the home page.
Understanding Your Class Schedule
It is important to know how to find - and read - your class schedule. Check your schedule regularly, especially right before classes begin, in case there are changes to things like class locations. Each of our campuses and buildings have an assigned location code - i.e. The location code can be found in your class details.
Navigating Registration and Course Management
Adding and Dropping Classes
Before adding or dropping any classes, we always recommend meeting with an Academic Advisor to ensure you are on track to reach your education and career goals. Next to "action," select what you would like to do.
Using Navigate for Planning and Registration
- Accessing Advisor Plans: From the left-hand panel of your Navigate Planner, select Advisor Plans to access plans that have been sent to you.
- Reviewing Transaction Summary: After you select the Register button in Navigate, read through your Transaction Summary message. This message will let you know if there was an error or if your class was successfully added.
- Searching for Classes: When you are searching for a class, avoid using spaces in your entry.
- Adding Terms: Add a term before planning classes.
- Accessing the Menu: Find the menu (three horizontal lines) in the right-hand panel of the Planner.
- Scheduling Appointments: Use the Appointments menu item.
- Addressing Error Messages: We can clear this error message for you.
- To-Do Items: To-do items are suggestions that help remind you and keep you on track. You may have already completed some of the items on your to-do list.

You can add a class that is not on your template by using the Course Catalog search feature.

Setting Up Your Learning Coach (LC) Account
- The subject line will say: “Welcome!

Parking Information
Parking on all PPSC campuses is FREE! If you are taking classes at the Downtown Campus, you can park in the Antlers Hilton Parking garage, conveniently located right next to the Downtown Campus. If you are taking classes at Center for Healthcare Education and Simulation (CHES), be advised the parking is limited at CHES. Campus the Mountain Metropolitan Transit bus to the CHES campus, Route 40.
