Pace University Registrar: A Comprehensive Guide
Pace University's Registrar's Office plays a vital role in managing student academic records, administering academic policies, and supporting students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the services and resources offered by the Registrar's Office, including transcript requests, enrollment verifications, and important academic policies.
Transcript Requests
Pace University has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse to streamline the process of ordering official transcripts for current students, former students, and alumni.
Ordering Transcripts
- Current Students: Access the transcript ordering link through MyHub. Before placing a request, verify that all grades and degree information have been posted to your unofficial transcript on Pace Portal.
- Alumni and Non-Active Students: Order transcripts directly through the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Center.
- Students Enrolled Before 1985: Requests may require additional processing time for record research. Providing accurate information on the Clearinghouse transcript request form is crucial for accurate record retrieval.
- Elisabeth Haub School of Law: Transcripts must be requested directly from the Law School Registrar's Office using their specific transcript request form, available on the Law School's webpage. Law school transcripts are not processed through the National Student Clearinghouse.
Name Changes
To have your new name appear on your transcript, submit a General Change Form along with the required documentation. After receiving confirmation that your name has been changed, you may submit your transcript request.
Supporting Documents
Forms or documents required to be sent with an official transcript, such as cover pages, certifications, enrollment verifications, verification of nontraditional courses, and online program confirmations, can be uploaded to your transcript order. Some certification forms must be sent to your program department (College of Health Professions, School of Education, etc.) before uploading. Ensure all applicant/student portions of your form are completed and signed. Certification/Academic forms will not be accepted from a third party; all forms must be submitted by the student with a transcript order.
Custodial Institutions
Alumni of Briarcliff College, Bennett College, Good Counsel College, College of White Plains, and New York Medical College must submit requests via the National Student Clearinghouse.

World Trade Institute
Students of the World Trade Institute must submit a completed WTI Letter Request Form. Pace University acquired this program in July 1997. Transcripts for coursework completed before 1997 are unavailable due to their loss on September 11, 2001. However, letters detailing students’ coursework can be generated from the database.
Fees and Accessing Unofficial Transcripts
There is a standard transcript fee of $7.65 per transcript. Alumni and inactive students are unable to access unofficial transcripts and should request a transcript online through the National Student Clearinghouse. Current students can access a step-by-step Access Unofficial Transcript Guide (PDF).
Verification and Letter Requests
MyHub Verification
Active students and alumni can obtain an enrollment verification letter through MyHub. Creating a personal account through MyHub may be necessary if your Pace credentials are no longer active. These certificates do not include enrollment for pre-registered semesters; for pre-registered terms, submit a Degree and/or Enrollment Verification Request Form.
Degree and/or Enrollment Verification Letter
For a letter containing degree and/or enrollment verification, as well as major, level, expected graduation, enrolled hours, and status, submit a Degree and/or Enrollment Verification Request Form. Alumni should include any previous names or identifying information used during attendance to avoid delays.
In-School Deferments
Request forms for in-school deferments can be submitted via a Help Desk ticket.

Other Important Information
Academic Scheduling
The mission of the Office of Academic Scheduling is to provide optimum scheduling of courses in all delivery formats to serve the needs of a diverse population of students. A major component of this mission is to improve the methods by which we inventory our courses and programs and to make the scheduling and inventory of these programs and courses available to the community in both printed and online formats.
Instructional Methods and Modalities
To search the instructional method (how a class is taught) for your class please use the Browse Classes feature in the Registration section in the Pace Portal. Continue to search frequently for any changes.
- On-campus (ONCMP): Course is taught with only traditional in-person, on-campus class meetings. Allocation of classroom space is prioritized for programs that require the use of on-campus equipment (e.g., College of Health Professions, STEM labs) or in-person pedagogy.
- Web-assisted (WA): Course is taught with both on-campus sessions and online components.
- HyFlex or Hybrid-Flex (HYFLX): Course is taught in a combined approach with some physical, on-campus participation and some remote Zoom participation. Instructors work with students to determine the attendance location.
- Asynchronous (ASYNC): Course is taught online with students participating at their own times. There will be assignments, quizzes/tests, projects and/or discussions that students have the flexibility to complete within a set period each week.
- Synchronous (SYNC): Course is taught online in real time using Zoom. Students will be required to participate at set times from their own home/residence hall or remote location.
- Mixed (MIXAS): Course is taught using a combination of real-time Zoom sessions and self-paced or asynchronous activities.
For Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) purposes, HyFlex is not considered to be an in-person modality, and Web-assisted can be considered an in-person modality if (1) the section meets at least 50% in-person, (2) instructors make the attendance policy clear in their syllabi, and (3) attendance is formally taken (Qwickly Attendance via Brightspace is acceptable).
Final Exams
All final exams are scheduled for the last day of class, during regular class time, in its assigned classroom. However, please confirm the final exam information with the instructor of each class.
