The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is the central hub for campus calendars, student registration, academic records, registration, tuition and fee assessment, and degree and curriculum management, as well as many faculty and staff resources and tools. The OUR offers a comprehensive suite of services, including:
- Campus Calendars: Managing and maintaining the official campus calendars.
- Student Registration: Facilitating the registration process for students.
- Academic Records: Maintaining and managing academic records.
- Tuition and Fee Assessment: Overseeing the assessment of tuition and fees.

Official Transcripts: A Detailed Overview
Official transcripts are a critical component of a student's academic record. These documents provide a comprehensive overview of a student's academic history at UC Davis. Official transcripts display information regarding your name, student identification number, courses and quarters enrolled, grades, unit information, grade point average, transfer work, academic actions such as course repeat notations, withdrawals, and degree(s) awarded, including date awarded and major(s) and/or minors(s). Official transcripts also include honors and award notations such as dean’s list notations, department citations, and internship notations.
Students enrolled in their first term can order an official transcript once grades have been published.

Ordering Official Transcripts: Online Services
The OUR offers convenient online ordering services for official transcripts. Electronic transcripts, printed hard copy transcripts, and FedEx delivery service are all available online through Parchment.
- Online Ordering via MyUCDavis: If you can CAS authenticate, you can avoid completing the Signature Authorization form: Open the Academics tab in MyUCDavis. Select Order an Official Transcript to place your order.
- Online Ordering for Alumni: If you are not able to CAS authenticate (Alumni): Use Parchment to place your order. Contact us if you have trouble finding your Student Identification Number before placing your order.
- Browser Recommendations: When placing an order online, we recommend using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari web browsers.
- Delivery Options: FedEx delivery is only available when placing an online order. FedEx orders will only be processed once a week. For immediate delivery, official electronic transcripts are sent out the same day. Please indicate if you need an attachment included with your official transcript.Note: Retroactively withdrawn terms display only the term/year on the official transcript.
Enrollment Verification Services
The OUR also provides enrollment verification services to students. These verifications confirm a student's enrollment status at UC Davis. Self-service certificates are available starting the third week of instruction each term using the National Student Clearinghouse, MyHub student portal. Verifications and certificates provide information regarding enrollment status, including the student's name, start and end dates of the selected term, and expected graduation date. It is important to note: Verifications and certificates are not official transcripts and do not contain a complete list of courses, grades, and GPA for each term.
Information for Employers and Third-Party Requestors
UC Davis has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to act as its agent for purposes of verifications. This service is available only to students who are not All Records Confidential. The student’s name when enrolled and date of birth are required for identification purposes. For information, instructions, & fees, contact the National Student Clearinghouse.

Important Notice Regarding Transfer Reports
As of June 1, 2023, the Office of the University Registrar no longer completes the College Report for the Common Application or any other transfer report. The UC Davis official transcript contains the information requested. A Transfer Letter (PDF) confirms the change. Students may send this letter to the institution(s) of their choice.
