To facilitate this, the Navy provides a robust suite of electronic learning resources accessible through various platforms. Accessing Navy E-Learning Platforms

Sailors can access Navy e-learning courses through the official Navy e-learning portal. Service members can log into the Navy’s dedicated e-learning portal with their military ID and password. You can access Navy e-learning courses through the official Navy e-learning portal.

To log in to NeL via the My Navy Portal click here. Although direct access to NeL is available through the internet, a Common Access Card (CAC) is still required for NeL login.

My Navy Portal (MNP) serves as a central hub for various Navy resources, including access to e-learning platforms. NKO functions are now in My Navy Portal (MNP).

Course Catalog and Content

Trainees using NeL complete over five million online courses a year, from a comprehensive catalog of 12,500 distance learning courses. Courses range from general military training to specific training for individual units.

Naval War College (NWC) Online PME Courses

Naval War College (NWC) offers four professional military education (PME) courses delivered via the My Navy Portal (MNP) for officers, enlisted and Department of Navy civilians. All Online PME courses can be accessed through Navy e-Learning. Enrollment in an Online PME course is exactly the same as any other course in Navy e-Learning. Learners' progress through the courses is bookmarked, enabling them to return to the point in the course where they logged off. NWC provides completion certificates for the four courses it offers in Navy E-Learning. NWC does not provide certificates for non-NWC JPME courses delivered through Navy eLearning. The Online PME Challenge is an educational supplement developed by the Naval War College to strengthen the professional military education experience.
