Dual Enrollment students do not pay the $46 per unit California Enrollment Fee. However, they are still required to pay miscellaneous fees. AB2364 also waives non-resident (California resident) fees for applicable part-time high school students, though this does not apply to all non-resident statuses.
Restrictions
Ninth and tenth-grade students cannot take MSJC's ENGL 101, except in extremely rare instances. Middle/junior high school students may be admitted under exceptional circumstances, requiring advanced scholastic achievement, a transcript, a Letter of Recommendation from the middle/junior high school counselor, and a meeting with the appropriate MSJC Administrator.
