Miami University Student Tickets: A Comprehensive Guide

Football Tickets
Season Tickets and Waitlist
Due to overwhelming demand, the University of Miami is currently offering access to a waitlist for season tickets for the 2026 season. University of Miami Alumni and full-time eligible employees can save up to 20% on season tickets.
Student Tickets
Full-time undergraduate students automatically have the athletic fee included in their enrollment process, which grants them access to complimentary tickets for assigned home games for football, baseball, basketball, and intercollegiate contests. Graduate students and part-time undergraduate students have the opportunity to opt in and pay the athletic fee in order to claim complimentary tickets to Hurricanes athletic events.
Claiming Tickets
Each student must claim a student ticket the week of the game. Claiming a ticket does not guarantee admission. Students must present their CaneCard and ticket at the NW Student Gate to enter.
For Football and Men’s Basketball games, you may claim your ticket starting on Sunday at noon the week of the game. The deadline to claim a student ticket for Football is Wednesday at 11:59 PM before each home game.

To claim your ticket(s), once your fee has been paid and you receive confirmation from the Hurricane Ticket Office, you will be able to use UM’s single sign-on process to access your account. You may claim one (1) ticket for each Football and Men’s Basketball game.
Student Section
The student section is comprised of sections 106/107 & 117/118. Each student will be wrist-banded with a certain color to indicate those students who have gained access to the lower bowl. These students are ushered to a specific entrance at Northwest Gate of Hard Rock Stadium and led to the student sections in the 100 level of the stadium.
The student entrance is closed upon the conclusion of the first half.
Guest Tickets
You may purchase up to one (1) student guest ticket* for select home football games. Guest tickets will be available for purchase during the student ticket claim period. These tickets are dependent upon availability. You must add the ticket to your Apple Wallet for entry. You will be provided a wristband upon entry to distinguish what level you will be sitting in.
Family Weekend Tickets

Hockey tickets are free for current Oxford students, and you claim them through the same process as football tickets. There is a chance that the seats allocated to students get full, but Oxford fee-paying students can always fill in anywhere around the venue for both hockey and basketball.

Olympic Sports
For Olympic sports, students do not need to claim a student ticket, however, a CaneCard is required for entry.
Baseball

Groups
Groups of 10 or more can save on Hurricanes Football tickets and will enjoy a block of seating to keep their group together. Each group will receive a welcome message on the video board during the game.
