Viewing Class Schedules and Registering for Courses
The portal allows students to view their current class schedules, ensuring they are aware of their course timings and locations. Furthermore, students can utilize the portal to register for courses, streamlining the enrollment process. Note that if you do not see the > arrow on the far right side of the section list for a class, it means you are unable to enroll. Enter you search keywords in the search box and click the arrow to continue. A list of possible matches will be displayed.
Accessing Grades and Requesting Transcripts
Students can conveniently access their grades through the MyLIU portal, allowing them to monitor their academic progress. Additionally, the portal facilitates transcript requests, simplifying the process of obtaining official academic records. View Unofficial Transcript allows you to generate a copy of your LIU transcript. Click the Submit button in the upper right corner to create the transcript. For security purposes, only the last 4 digits of your account number will be displayed.

Students can access information about their financial aid awards, including grants, loans, and scholarships, enabling them to understand their funding options. To Accept, Decline or Reduce an Award, click on the pencil icon. From the drop down box in the Award Decision column, select the appropriate choice. Expected Family Contribution - displays a breakdown of what you and/or your parents are expected to contribute to your estimated costs. Viewing Billing Information and Making Online Payments
The Financial Account tile contains your student account information including your account balance, payment history and enrolling in direct deposit. The portal allows students to view their billing statements, track payment history, and make online payments, simplifying the process of managing tuition and fees. You can make changes to your direct deposit enrollment on this screen. Click the pencil in the top right corner to edit the page. Click on the magnifying glass in the Bank Routing Number box. The following screen will appear displaying a list of available banks. Scroll or search for your bank. Complete the rest of your banking information and click the button to agree to the terms and conditions. Click the Submit button to complete the enrollment process. Account Inquiry - allows you to view details about your account. The Charges Due tab is displayed by default. You can view the information for the entire academic year or for a specific term by changing the selection in the Display box. The default view is “Summary” which displays the academic year.

Students can add and update emergency contact information, enabling the university to reach out to designated individuals in case of an emergency. To Add an Additional Name Type, click the plus (+) button above your name. The Add Name page will be displayed.

Healthy Living
The health and wellness of the Long Island University community is our highest priority. Healthy Living, under the Division of Student Affairs, is a collaboration of on-campus resources and strong partnerships with local health organizations and professionals. These partnerships include Northwell Health - GoHealth and the Northwell Health College Behavioral Health Program.
Student Health Insurance
Long Island University has partnered with JCB Insurance Solutions to offer a cost-effective Student Health Insurance Plan that provides coverage at school, at home, and while traveling or studying abroad. This health plan is required for Division I athletes, clinical degree students, and J1 or F1 visa holders, as these groups must have a health insurance plan that provides access to healthcare in the New York metro area. Students are automatically enrolled in the LIU health plan after the waiver deadline. Beginning this year, billing for coverage will be on a per-semester basis.

All medical and counseling services and records are confidential. They are not part of your academic record at LIU. Your health is important to us.
