Little Learner Academy Curriculum: A Comprehensive Approach to Early Childhood Education
Little Learner Children's Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to foster holistic growth in young children. With a focus on cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development, their programs aim to prepare children for each step of their educational journey. Precious Little Learner’s Academy, founded in Chicago, IL, offers a comprehensive childcare and preschool program, catering to infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Their unique approach involves presenting curriculum through computer learning. Besides quality education, they offer nutritious meals and provide potty training. This makes them a complete solution for your child's early development needs.
The R.I.S.E. Curriculum: Reaching for Excellence
At the heart of Little Learner Children's Academy is the proprietary R.I.S.E. (Reach, Inspire, Self-Paced, Excellence) curriculum. This in-house designed curriculum is tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group, providing an exceptional early learning experience.
What is R.I.S.E Curriculum?
The R.I.S.E. Curriculum is an acronym for Reach, Inspire, Self-Paced Excellence. This specially designed educational resource is tailored for Toddlers, Preschoolers and Kindergarteners. Every R.I.S.E. workbook includes a yearly plan printed inside the cover, outlining a monthly theme and learning focus. The curriculum supports structured learning while giving our teachers the flexibility to tailor activities to the unique needs of each age group. Your child will work in their R.I.S.E book 2-3 times a week, completing one page per session. There are no scripted instructions; this encourages creativity and allows our educators to adapt activities to best support your child's learning style.
Some Activities Include:
- Coloring and tracing
- Name writing practice
- Finger and dot painting
- Art with glitter, glue, or pasta
- Connect-the-dots
These hands-on activities help strengthen fine motor skills, promote creativity, and make learning fun! To ensure quality attention, we complete R.I.S.E Curriculum activities in small groups, usually no more than three children at a time. This allows our educators to give each child the support and guidance they need. If your child is ever absent, we make sure to catch them up on any missed pages so they don’t fall behind.
