Kraft Heinz Internship Program: Shaping Future Leaders in the Food Industry

Program Overview
The Kraft Heinz Internship Program is a ten-week leadership development experience structured as follows:
- Immersive Onboarding (One Week): An introductory week dedicated to understanding the Kraft Heinz business model and developing essential skills for a successful summer project.
- Project Work (Eight Weeks): Interns dedicate eight weeks to projects that explore new business opportunities and develop creative solutions.
- Final Presentations and Celebrations (One Week): The program culminates in final presentations to the executive leadership team and celebrations with fellow interns.
In addition to project work, interns participate in weekly sessions that focus on the company’s values, leadership development, and impactful skill-building for early career success. A group business challenge allows interns to research insights and identify opportunities for the company. Based on performance, interns may have the opportunity to return to Kraft Heinz in the 2027 Internship or Trainee Programs. Throughout the program, interns can also expect regular opportunities to meet with the CEO, North America President, Chief People Officer, and other senior executives; mentorship from previous Trainees and business leadership; and curated learning experiences to help with grow as leaders and as cultural ambassadors of Kraft Heinz. The internship is scheduled to run from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026.
Internship Projects
Intern projects are designed to propel Kraft Heinz brands forward. Examples include:
- Exploring emerging opportunities to appeal to Gen Z audiences.
- Digitally revolutionizing the company's ability to track its supply chain in real-time.
- Developing new packaging solutions in support of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

Compensation
The new hire rate for interns is $26 USD per hour, which translates to $1040 USD per week.

Recruitment Process

- Final On-Site Interview Day: The final stage involves an on-site interview day at the Kraft Heinz Chicago Headquarters.
Program Location
Interns in the Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations tracks are based in Chicago, IL. Interns in the R&D track are located in Glenview, IL. Housing is provided for all interns for the duration of the program.
