Hansel Enmanuel's journey began in the Dominican Republic. He later moved to the United States where he lettered for two seasons at Life Christian Academy in Kissimmee, Florida, under head coach Andrew Fowler. Northwestern State Demons (2022-2023)

Hansel Enmanuel arrived at Northwestern State University in late August 2022, missing summer workouts due to endorsement obligations. He made his collegiate debut for the Demons on November 12, recording one steal and committing two fouls in eight minutes of play. Hansel Donato Dominguez is the son of Katy Dominguez and Hansel Donato. His father played professional basketball in the Dominican Republic. He has four siblings: Abigail, Kaira, Jhohansel, and Salomon. Enmanuel wears No. 24 on behalf of Vernon Wilson, who gave his blessing to do so after meeting and speaking with Enmanuel; Wilson's No. 24 was retired in Feb.
