Additional Considerations for All Internships
Worksite Approval
All internship sites are subject to OSPD and university review. Interns at unapproved worksites, or for whom paperwork cannot be obtained, will be denied credit.
Supervision and Management
Interns receive over-site and management of their position from a professional staff member.
Restrictions
Interns cannot complete internships at the same business that is owned and/or operated by a family member. Performing your current duties is not sufficient for internship credit.
Submitting a petition does NOT guarantee approval for credit.
Important Documents
The internship application document is multiple pages and may take 15-20 minutes to complete. It is recommended to use a desktop computer rather than a mobile device.
