The Evesham Township School District, located approximately twenty miles east of Philadelphia in southern New Jersey, serves students from preschool through eighth grade. School Climate and Culture

All schools must annually complete a Self-Assessment to assist the state in determining school and district compliance in implementing the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act. The school grade is a raw score of data and the sum of the ratings for all indicators within each core element on the Self-Assessment. The maximum total score for a school is 78 points.

Anti-Bullying Initiatives

The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights (ABR) Act is a key component of the district's efforts to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. All schools within the district are required to conduct an annual Self-Assessment to gauge their compliance with the ABR Act. The state uses these self-assessments to determine school and district grades. The last official report was released by the state in May of 2025. Responsive Classroom Approach

At the elementary level, all schools integrate the Responsive Classroom Approach (RCA). A core belief of the approach is that in order to be successful in and out of school, students need to learn a set of social and emotional competencies, as well as designated academic competencies.

Evesham Education Foundation

The Evesham Education Foundation is an independent, non-political, non-profit organization established in 1995 to support excellence in education. The 15 member board is made up of business leaders, concerned parents and educators. All contribute their time and experience overseeing fundraising events and making sure that 100% of the money raised is used exclusively to fund programs that have proven value. The foundation plays a crucial role in supporting various school district initiatives. Over the years the Evesham Education Foundation has supported several school district initiatives including CAPPS (Coordinated Arts Program for Primary Students), Genesis Counseling Program, and Metamorphosis Program. In addition, the foundation has expanded their support to include funding for middle school athletic uniforms and two academic summer programs. The summer programs are a literacy support program for incoming second and third graders and a Tier III enrichment extension program for gifted and talented students. Student Proficiency and Assessment

Each year, state and local education agencies use tests and other standards to assess student proficiency. Department of Education, proficiency measurements are established by the states.
