After tying the game at three in the seventh inning, sophomore first baseman Cade Bernardo delivered a game-changing grand slam, propelling Endicott to a 7-3 lead over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Wladkowski added an insurance run with a solo home run in the eighth, ultimately securing an 8-5 victory and a coveted spot in the NCAA D3 College World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. This marked Endicott's fourth consecutive season hosting an NCAA Super Regional, highlighting the program's consistent success and ability to compete at the highest level.

Caleb Shpur and Gabe Van Emon, former Gulls, have significantly contributed to Endicott's baseball success. Their journey began during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic. Despite the cancellation of their inaugural season after only nine games, Shpur and Van Emon displayed exceptional dedication and work ethic.
Van Emon noted, "Typically, you think of upperclassmen as players who understand the ebbs and flows of playing college baseball." He added, "We couldn’t play, so we practiced instead."
Shpur's transition to the outfield proved pivotal. "Until my second year at Endicott, I was an infielder," said Shpur. "Because of Covid, infielders and outfielders practiced in separate groups. One day, I accidentally went to the outfielders’ practice." He continued, "Afterward, Coach asked me to play a few scrimmages as a center fielder. During the first one, there was a ball hit deep in the gap."
Their hard work and talent have earned them individual accolades and helped Endicott establish a reputation as a baseball powerhouse. Shawn Medeiros, Director of Sports Information at Endicott, praised their natural talent. Both Shpur and Van Emon aspire to reach the major leagues, driven by their experiences at Endicott. Van Emon added, "I learned what it’s like to be part of a winning culture."
