The EDP produces a printout of satisfied degree requirements as well as requirements which may be deficient relative to the degree selected. The EDP allows a student to compare his/her academic accomplishments against any or all degrees in the University’s catalog. The EDP is divided into four main sections: the major requirements for the degree, the number of required hours (listed under the “Overall Credit Requirement” section), the number of hours completed (designated by “Taken”), and any deficiencies (noted by ‘Incomplete’). The EDP indicates when a course/degree requirement was completed and if a course was transferred into the University. A student can review their updated degree EDP at any time through the CampusWeb portal. The CampusWeb portal is updated as courses are completed at Amberton, courses are transferred into Amberton and when a student enrolls in a course at Amberton.

A student can obtain an EDP by visiting the CampusWeb Portal and clicking on the ‘My Degree Audit’ menu option. A copy can also be provided by the Student Services Office on the Garland Campus or Frisco Center. The EDP is available free of charge as a service to Amberton University students.

Getting Started with Financial Aid

The beginning point for all federal financial aid starts with applying for a federal FSA ID. The FSA ID is your “electronic signature” for completing all of your financial aid documents online. To apply for an FSA ID create a username and password of your choice.

The information that you provide in the FAFSA application will help the school determine if you are eligible for Federal Financial Aid. When completing the FAFSA form, be sure to list E.D.P.

Financial Aid Offer

Upon completion of the application and verification (if required) processes, the Financial Aid Office will prepare a financial aid offer for you based on your eligibility as determined by your FAFSA. Your financial aid offer will list all of the aid for which you are eligible. Upon completion of the application process and admission into one of our eligible programs, the Financial Aid Office will prepare an offer of financial aid for you based upon your eligibility and financial need. This financial aid offer may include a Federal PELL grant.
