Affordable School Supplies

Target introduces a list of 20 must-have school supplies that add up to less than $20 in total. This list includes popular items such as Mondo Llama 12-pack colored pencils, up&up liquid glue, notebooks, and more. Target also offers high-quality backpacks for just $5, ensuring all students can express themselves with a bag they love.

Target Circle 360 Subscription

Target Circle 360 is a subscription offering unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35, access to Shipt's marketplace, and more. The subscription starts at $4.99 per month for verified college students and $10.99 per month for all consumers, beginning July 14. For a limited time, teachers can sign up for the annual subscription of Target Circle 360 between July 14 and Aug. 24 and get same-day delivery for just $49 for the first year.

Teacher and College Student Appreciation Discount

Beginning July 14, Target offers a one-time 20% appreciation discount for verified teachers and college students who are Target Circle members. Teachers can enjoy the discount through Aug. 24, while college students have an extended period to save through Sept.

Convenience for Teachers and Parents

Target Circle 360 same-day delivery is a convenient solution for teachers who need last-minute classroom supplies. Parents with kids heading off to college can use Target Circle 360 to have dorm room essentials or care packages delivered straight to their student's dorm room.

Target reintroduced its new Target Circle program, including the free-to-join Target Circle and the paid Target Circle 360 subscription.

Target Circle Benefits

By joining or using Target Circle, customers agree to the Target Circle Terms and the Privacy Policy then in effect, including but not limited to the Financial Incentive Program disclosure in Section 6. Target may update the Target Circle Terms or make any changes to the Target App or to the Site at any time without notice. Customers agree to any updates to the Target Circle Terms by continuing to participate in the program. Target Circle is a loyalty program offered by Target Corporation. Target Circle Terms are these terms that govern the Target Circle program. Target Circle Deals are Target Circle-specific discounts and promotions that will apply automatically to a purchase when the customer identifies as a Target Circle member at checkout. Target Circle Rewards are rewards which can be earned by Target Circle members. Target Circle Bonus is a personalized offer that customers may get while being a member of Target Circle either to receive additional savings or promotional items or to earn Target Circle Rewards. Community Giving Program is the program which provides Target Circle members the opportunity to earn and cast votes to help direct where Target makes its Donation to Nonprofits. Nonprofits are the nonprofit organizations selected by Target for the Community Giving Program. Donation is the charitable donation Target makes to Nonprofits in the Community Giving Program. Voting Period is the time period during which Target Circle members can cast votes for Nonprofits in the Community Giving Program.

How to Earn Target Circle Rewards and Community Giving Program Votes

To earn Target Circle Rewards and Community Giving Program votes, customers must identify themselves as a Target Circle member when they make a purchase at Target. This can be done by providing a mobile telephone number in their Target Circle account, by scanning the Wallet barcode in the Target App, or by paying with the Target Circle Card connected to their Target Circle account. As of January 18, 2023, Target Circle Cards can no longer be connected to a Target Circle account. If a customer connected their Target Circle Card to their Target Circle account prior to January 18, 2023, they can continue to use that Target Circle Card to identify themselves as Target Circle member as long as they do not change the Target Circle Card number connected to their Target Circle account. Customers need to provide a valid United States mobile telephone number in their Target account if they want to use their mobile telephone number to identify themselves as a Target Circle member at checkout. When customers make a purchase on Target.com or in the Target App, they can identify themselves as a Target Circle member by signing into their Target account before they place their order. For in-store transactions, if customers identify themselves as a Target Circle member in a single transaction using multiple identification methods (e.g., provide their telephone number and pay with the Wallet) that are not associated with the same Target Circle account, Target Circle benefits will be awarded to and/or redeemed from only one of the associated Target Circle accounts, which will be determined at Target’s sole discretion.

College Student Discount Details

Target offers an annual college student discount every June through September, along with other 20% off Target Circle offers for verified students throughout the year. Although the 2025 discount has ended, college students can still save with monthly Circle offers throughout the year by verifying their status to access them. Hot storage deals at Target, including deals on furniture, storage bins, garment racks, and shelving units, can be combined with the Target college student discount. Students can verify their student status in the Target app and stack their 20% discount on top of a sale price. Paying with a Target Circle Card provides an extra 5% off.

How to Get the Target College Discount

The official Target College Student Discount is a yearly event where students get 20% off storewide, which is different from the monthly offers. College students can verify their student status in the Target app and then get a coupon good for 20% off one storewide Target purchase. College students can also get Target Circle 360 at a monthly subscription for just $4.99 per month (compared to $10.99 for non-students). In addition to the official 20% off Circle offer in the summer, Target gives students additional Circle offers throughout the school year. These Circle Offers have exclusions and won’t stack on top of the general 20% off Target student discount. However, they can be used in combination with a "buy three, get a $10 Target gift card" promo.

Predicted Dates for Future Discounts

KCL predicts the next official Target college student discount for 20% off storewide will likely start on June 28, 2026. This prediction is based on the prior Target College Student Discount coupon dates that we've tracked: June 29 - Sept. 27, 2025; July 14 - Sept. 28, 2024; July 16 - Aug. 26, 2023; June 29 - Sept. 27, 2025; July 14 - Sept. 28, 2024; July 16 - Aug. 26, 2023.

Using the College Student Discount

Eligible college students automatically receive a 20% off coupon through their Target Circle account as long as they’re verified as a student. The coupon is valid for one-time use online or in store. Stacking the 20% off coupon with a state’s tax-free weekend and using Target gift cards can provide extra savings. The college student discount can also be combined with the typical 5% off Target Circle Card discount for even more savings. To get a college student discount at Target, students can sign up for Target Circle online or by selecting the account tab inside the Target app. Once verified, they can save their college savings Circle offer(s), and the discount will automatically apply at checkout on Target.com or in their Target Wallet in store. If a student is not ready to use their coupon yet, they should uncheck it from their Target wallet to avoid wasting it on a small transaction. If a new student is not recognized by the system, they can submit their school ID card with the expiration date, class schedule, or tuition receipt for verification. Uploading a dorm assignment letter or bursar statement for verification is also suggested.

What the Discount Covers

The college student discount is valid on almost everything at Target, with select brands excluded from almost every Circle Offer, including alcohol, Apple products, Beats, Bullseye’s Playground, Casper, Cricut, Dyson, gift cards, Instant Pot, JBL, Ninja, Samsung TVs, Shark, and more. The Target college student discount can be used in combination with sales on dorm decor, household essentials, beauty, tech, food, and beverage items.

Agentic Commerce and Delegated Access

The terms in this section apply if you expressly authorize an agent powered through AI (“Agentic Commerce Agent”) to access and perform certain functions in your Target account on your behalf. Only Agentic Commerce Agents expressly approved by you and by Target are considered Agentic Commerce Agents. Other automated or unauthorized agentic tools are expressly prohibited. By enabling an Agentic Commerce Agent, you expressly authorize that Agent to act on your behalf in your Target account. These permissions may include signing in to your account, creating or modifying carts, placing orders, and initiating returns, subject to any limits you approve. Actions taken by an Agentic Commerce Agent within the scope of your approved permissions will be treated as actions authorized by you. You are responsible for reviewing activity performed by your Agentic Commerce Agent and for promptly notifying the Agentic Commerce Agent and Target of any activity you believe is unauthorized or outside the scope of permissions you approved. You may revoke an Agentic Commerce Agent’s access at any time through the account settings in your Target profile. Upon revocation, the Agent will no longer be permitted to act on your behalf. Target may suspend or revoke an agent’s access, in whole or in part, if we detect suspected fraud, misuse, policy violations, security concerns, or other activity that may pose risk to you or to Target. Target is not responsible for the conduct of the third-party Agentic Commerce Agent. Your use of the Agentic Commerce Agent may also be subject to that Agent’s separate terms and conditions. Authorizing an Agentic Commerce Agent does not make that Agent an employee, partner, or representative of Target. By authorizing an Agentic Commerce Agent, you consent to Target sharing necessary account, order, and transaction information with that agent consistent with Target’s Privacy Policy. Purchases and other actions taken by an Agentic Commerce Agent that you have authorized are considered transactions authorized by you. Target will evaluate disputes involving Agentic Commerce Agent based on the permissions in effect at the time of the transaction, applicable account protections, relevant evidence of authorization, and applicable law. Target does not purport to guarantee that an Agentic Commerce Agent will act exactly as you intend in all circumstances. You should review orders, account activity, and settings regularly.

Unlawful or Prohibited Uses

The Site may only be used for lawful purposes in accordance with the terms of the license granted in these Terms & Conditions. As a condition of your use of this Site, you warrant to Target that you will not (and will not assist or encourage any third party to) use the Site in any way or for any purpose that is unlawful or is prohibited by these Terms & Conditions.

Your Account

You may be required to register with Target in order to access certain services or areas of the Site. With respect to any such registration, we may refuse to grant to you the user name you request. Your user name and password are for your personal use only, and you will not share your user name or password with any individual or third party (other than Target). If you use the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password, including when using an Agentic Commerce Agent. In addition to all other rights available to Target including those set forth in these Terms & Conditions, Target reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your account, refuse service to you, or cancel orders.

Modification and Termination

Target may at any time: (i) modify or discontinue any part of the Site; (ii) charge, modify or waive fees required to use the Site; or (iii) offer opportunities to some or all Site users. Target reserves the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Site. Each time you use the Site, you should review the current Terms & Conditions. You can determine when these Terms & Conditions were last revised by referring to the "LAST UPDATED" legend at the top of these Terms & Conditions. Your continued use of the Site will indicate your acceptance of the current Terms & Conditions; however, any change to these Terms & Conditions after your last usage of the Site will not be applied retroactively. Target reserves the right, without notice and at its sole discretion, to terminate your account or your use of the Site and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Site (i) if you violate any of these Terms & Conditions, (ii) for any other reason or (iii) for no reason. Target welcomes your reviews, comments, and other communications (including, without limitation, any content or other data entered into any search fields, chat tools, or other areas of the Site where you can submit content), photos, videos, or any other content that you submit through or to the Site, or any content or information you publish through any social media and allow Target to feature, such as your name, social media handle, accompanying text, and any images, videos, or audio from your social media accounts (e.g. User Content will not include any photographs or images you submit as part of a Transaction (as defined below). You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and Target assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by you. You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right (but have no obligation) to do any or all of the following, in our sole discretion: (i) monitor User Content; (ii) alter, remove, or refuse to post or allow to be posted any User Content; and/or (iii) disclose any User Content, and the circumstances surrounding its transmission, to any third party. In addition, you grant to Target the right to include the name provided along with the User Content submitted by you; provided, however, Target shall have no obligation to include such name with such User Content. We are not responsible for the use or disclosure of any personal information that you voluntarily disclose in connection with any User Content you submit. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary for you to grant the licenses granted in this section, including but not limited to permission from or on behalf of any individuals that appear in the User Content to use, and grant to third parties such as Target the right to use, their name, image, voice and/or likeness without compensation to you or any other person or entity. You further irrevocably waive any "moral rights" or other rights with respect to attribution of authorship or integrity of materials regarding User Content that you may have under any applicable law under any legal theory.
