DMAC Features and Tools for Students

DMAC offers several features and tools that can help students succeed in their studies. These include:

Online Testing

Testing Tools

The following testing tools are available on all online tests:

  • Eliminate Answer Choices: Enables students to highlight answer choices in grey to indicate they are possibly incorrect.
  • Notepad: Provides a space for students to type notes for each question.

TEKScore eLearning

As students navigate through a test and enter their answers, the Related and Number buttons along the bottom highlight answered questions in blue. Flagged questions marked for review have a small red flag icon next to the number. Students can click the green Review/End button when all answers have been entered. Flagged items also appear on the review page. Students can click 'no response' or the answer to navigate directly to a selected number for editing. A warning message appears if the student has not entered an answer for an item. A warning message appears if the student has not entered an answer for an item.

DMAC User Roles: Understanding Access Levels

DMAC employs different user roles to manage access to confidential data. These roles ensure data security and appropriate levels of access for different users. While students primarily interact with the testing and assessment features, it's helpful to understand the different roles within the DMAC system:

  • District Administrator: Has the highest level of access, including the ability to manage user accounts, edit records, and generate reports.
  • District Manager: Possesses similar access to a District Administrator, except for the ability to create or manage accounts.
  • District User: Has read-only access to class roster data and can generate reports.
  • Campus Administrator: Manages campus accounts and can modify class roster data for their campus.
  • Campus Manager: Has similar access to a Campus Administrator, excluding the ability to create or manage accounts.
  • Campus User: Has read-only access to class roster data for their campus and can generate reports.
  • Teacher: Teacher accounts and passwords are automatically generated with the Class Roster data file pulled from a school’s Student Management System (i.e.,Skyward or Ascender). Teachers only see the students who are tied to them via that class roster file. If a teacher needs access to additional students, those who manage your DMAC account can either set them up with a different type of login (Admin/Mgr/User) or create a locked class in Utilities.
