The Internship Experience

Discovery's nationally renowned US Internship Program is a paid, 12-week program that runs in the Spring and Summer semesters.

Through the Discovery Internship Program, Interns have the unique opportunity to learn about the entertainment and media industry from the leader in global entertainment through a paid, 12 month internship. Discovery Interns are presented with exclusive hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, executive speaker and networking sessions. In turn, you will be able to showcase your unique talents, cultivate your skills and most importantly, have fun while doing it.

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Internships

For those interested in the cutting-edge world of streaming, Discovery's DTC internships offer a chance to directly impact the user experience for millions of superfans. These interns work on platforms that power everything from search and catalogue to video transcoding, personalization, and global subscriptions. Whether it’s building a platform that brought the Tokyo Olympics to over 175M viewers globally, or delivering one of largest streaming libraries in the world via Discovery+, our DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) interns directly impact the user experience for our hundreds of millions of superfans around the world. Our platform covers everything from search, catalogue, video transcoding, personalization, to global subscriptions, and much more.
