Senior announcements serve as a formal and cherished way to share the momentous occasion of high school graduation with family and friends. These announcements, custom-designed for each school, are exclusive to Herff Jones and cannot be obtained elsewhere. Orders are processed in the order they are received, with shipping beginning in early spring. Due to their custom nature, announcements take approximately four weeks to process after the order is placed.

Essential Graduation Products: Cap and Gown

Commencement is a momentous occasion, and the traditional cap, gown, and tassel hold significant symbolic value, representing success and pride in one's school. Herff Jones provides these essential items for graduates from kindergarten to high school, as well as for college ceremonies and faculty regalia. You will be notified in the spring about the date of your cap and gown delivery.

If the cap and gown is not picked up at one of the scheduled delivery date(s), the next available time to pick up your cap and gown will be on the day of graduation at the venue. There are a select few schools that will handle distribution of gowns by school staff, however, most are handled by our representatives. All products, including cap and gown, can be ordered online. Alternatively, orders can be placed with a representative at school. Payments can be made online at herffjonesgrad.com. Cash and money order payments are also accepted during in-school order days.

Herff Jones offers a variety of apparel and keepsakes to showcase your achievements. These include:

Class Apparel: Comfortable and fashionable apparel and jackets allow graduates to display their accomplishments. A wide variety of styles and options are available, including t-shirts, hoodies, joggers, leggings, and achievement jackets.
Achievement Jackets: These jackets are custom-made, with a custom-measured fit and personalized patches. They can even be linked to a SmartShare QR code, allowing graduates to record and share videos.

If you place your order at an in-school ordering event, most items are delivered at that time. Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product and must be unused and in original packaging. No refunds after your graduation date.

Preserving Your Diploma: Plaques and Frames

Herff Jones offers diploma plaques and frames to preserve and display your hard-earned degree:

Diploma Plaques: Plaques ordered by January 1st will be delivered at your cap and gown delivery event. Orders placed after February 15th may not arrive prior to your graduation ceremony. (Please note, Diploma Plaques are a keepsake. Some schools will have a second delivery date, while others will have only one main delivery.
Diploma Frames: These frames are handcrafted in the USA and offer beautiful designs and unrivaled value. Each frame is made up of several parts and each one contributes to the overall quality and protective nature of a frame. A frame both protects your diploma from damage and shows the world the pride you have in the degree you have achieved. At Framing Success, we take every aspect of a frame’s design and build as seriously as the next, which in the end contributes to the frame’s overall quality.

Key Components of a Diploma Frame

Medallion: Located at the top of the frame, a custom-minted medallion features your school seal. They are available in silver or gold and can be enameled to increase their beauty.
Double Matting: Matting serves both decorative and protective purposes. It highlights the diploma by adding size, color, and depth. Double matting adds a second layer of protection and space between the diploma and the glass frame.
Moulding: Mouldings can be made from wood or metal and are available in 24 different styles. Each moulding can also be decorated with three different fillets, which creates a more sophisticated look.
Embossing: Framing Success was the original innovator of custom embossed frames and and offer three colors to choose from. There is gold or silver leaf for darker colored mats and then also offer a black leaf color for lighter colored mats.
