Navigating Clemson University Student Financial Services

Clemson University's Student Financial Services is dedicated to helping students and their authorized users meet their financial obligations to the University. This article provides a comprehensive guide to understanding student billing, payment options, financial aid, and other essential aspects of managing your finances at Clemson.

Accessing Your Student Bill

Student bills are available exclusively online through iROAR, Clemson's online portal. To view your bill, log in to iROAR and navigate to the "Student Billing" tab, then click on the "My Bill" link. The online bill reflects the student's current registration and billing information in real-time. Because the bill is real-time, students can verify that all fees are satisfied before the payment deadlines.

Bill Release Dates:

  • Fall semester bills are released in mid-late July.
  • Spring semester bills are released mid-late November.
  • Summer bills are released mid-late April.

Due dates are posted online. Students can log in to iROAR using their username and password.

Understanding Your Bill

The online bill in Touchnet reflects the student's current registration and billing information. Because the bill is real-time, students can verify that all fees are satisfied before the payment deadlines.

Important Considerations:

  • Fees Changes: If your fees change for any reason after your initial payment (i.e., housing adjustment, meal plan addition, change in schedule, etc.), you are responsible for promptly paying the balance.
  • Books: Books are not included on the student bill.
  • eStatements: eStatements are generated on the first business day of each month. Students and authorized users may print eBill statements via Touchnet.
  • On-Demand Statements: Additionally, you may print an On-Demand Statement to show the current account balance and details.

Payment Deadlines and Late Fees

Students are required to pay their bills by the due date each semester. Student Financial Services sets a due date each semester for when the bill must be satisfied.

Consequences of Late Payment:

  • If the bill is not satisfied by this date, a $150 late fee may be added to your account.
  • You are also at risk of having your class schedule canceled for non-payment.

Important Dates:

  • Fall bills will be available on July 21 to view and pay via the student's iROAR account. All payments must post to the student's account by August 14, 2025.
  • Spring bills will be available on November 24 to view and pay via the student's iROAR account. All payments must post to the student's account by December 31, 2025.

What to Do If You Have a Past Due Account:

Please contact Student Financial Services if your account is past due, your schedule is canceled due to non-payment or a financial hold has been placed on your record.

Credit Balances and Refunds

Credit balances are automatically refunded and may not be carried forward to future terms.
