Cerritos College Parking: A Comprehensive Guide

Navigating parking at Cerritos College requires understanding the rules, regulations, and various permit options. This guide provides comprehensive information to help students, staff, and visitors park legally and safely on campus.

Parking Rules and Regulations

All vehicles parking on campus must abide by the Cerritos College parking rules and regulations. These rules, along with the California Vehicle Code, are enforced at all times to ensure the safety and order of the campus community. It is important to note that colored curbs (blue for disabled, red for no stopping, green for 15 minutes, etc.) have the same meaning on campus as those found in any city. Any vehicle not properly parked or not in compliance with Cerritos College parking regulations is subject to citation and possible towing.

Cerritos College Police Officers patrol the parking lots every day and night. However, persons parking on district property do so at their own risk. Cerritos College does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked anywhere on District property.

Parking Permits

Parking at Cerritos College is by permit only. The Cerritos College parking permit entitles a vehicle to park on the campus when space is available. A valid parking permit is required to park in any parking space. Possession of a permit does not guarantee a parking space on campus.

Daily Permits

For those who only need to park on campus occasionally, Virtual Daily Permits are available online. The cost of each Virtual Daily Permit is $3.00 per day and is valid until the end of the day of purchase at 11:59pm. Note that there are NO REFUNDS on daily or monthly parking permits, no exceptions. Each permit is valid only on the day it is purchased. The permit is valid only in white-lined student stalls.
