Faculty Positions

CMSU offers opportunities for academics and researchers to contribute to its educational mission. The School of Earth, Environment, and Sustainability (SEES) seeks a tenure-track Geochemistry faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, with expertise in Low-Temperature and/or Environmental Geochemistry, to begin August 2026. A Ph.D. in Geology or a closely related field is required at the time of appointment. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate astronomy and undergraduate physics courses; maintaining an externally funded research program, involving undergraduate and potentially Masters-level graduate students; and appropriate service, which can include public outreach events at Baker Observatory.
