Boca Raton Christian School: Nurturing Leaders Through Christ-Centered Education

Boca Raton Christian School (BRCS) is a nationally recognized, accredited, Christ-centered college preparatory school situated on approximately 21 acres in downtown Boca Raton. Founded in 1973 as a ministry of Boca Raton Community Church, BRCS is dedicated to developing Christian leaders of influence, nurturing academic excellence, and inspiring Christian character.

BRCS prides itself on its commitment to academic rigor. The school provides appropriate academic challenge and rigor, taking into account each child and their needs. The school employs 62 classroom teachers, many holding advanced degrees. Spiritual Formation

Admissions and Requirements

Boca Raton Christian School admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin and applies to them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students of our school.

Spiritual Commitment

One parent or guardian must profess faith in Jesus Christ, agree with the school’s Statement of Faith, and provide a Christian testimony. Students (and at least one parent) attend weekly in-person church services at a Christ-centered church, as indicated by the Pastor Recommendation form. In addition, students in grades 6-12 are strongly encouraged to attend youth group weekly.

Academic Standards

Teacher evaluations and report cards must demonstrate that the student is an independent learner capable of success in a traditional classroom environment. Final report cards must show a consistent effort with no drop in academic or behavioral performance.

On the school’s entrance test, students must score at or above the 50th national percentile in Total Reading and Total Math. Students must be five years old by September 1st to enter Kindergarten.

In addition, prospective students must provide documentation of one of the following: Prospective students must achieve F.A.S.T. scores of Level 3 or higher in Reading, Math, and Language. Score at or above the 50th national percentile in Total Reading & Total Math as indicated by their most recent achievement tests (e.g., Terra Nova Achievement Test, Iowa Achievement Test, or another nationally normed standardized test).

Behavioral Standards

Students and parents must be in good standing with the current school. Teacher evaluations and report card behavioral marks must be favorable. Students and parents must not have exhibited disruptive behavior to the school or community. Students and parents must exhibit behavior, both in and out of school, consistent with Boca Christian’s Christian values.

Financial Responsibilities

Families who previously withdrew from Boca Christian and did not fulfill their tuition contract must clear all financial obligations before an admissions application will be accepted. All financial obligations to Boca Christian must be kept current. If the student is transferring from another private school, a note on school letterhead may be required stating that financial obligations have been cleared.

Admissions Process

  1. Application Submission: Submit the completed application form and all required documents, including church recommendation forms and teacher recommendations. Admissions decisions for applications submitted by the Early Decision deadline of December 15 are released each February. Applications received after December 15 are reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.
  2. Testing and Evaluation: Students whose applications and recommendations satisfy the requirements for admission will be tested.
  3. Interview Process: Selected applicants’ parents will be invited for an interview with a member of the Admissions team. The interview is an opportunity to discuss the applicant’s interests, goals, and fit for our school community. Students in 3rd-12th grade will also be interviewed.
  4. Additional Admission Consideration: Applications received after the Early Decision deadline or incomplete by December 15 will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Admission decisions for these applicants will depend on space availability in the desired grade level.
  5. Wait Pool Placement Policy: Wait pool placement is dependent on acceptance to Boca Raton Christian School. If your child meets the admissions requirements but no openings are available, we will offer to place their application in our wait pool. If you already have children enrolled at Boca Raton Christian School, every effort will be made to admit a sibling that meets acceptance requirements.
  6. Enrollment: Parents have one week from the date of acceptance to complete the enrollment process and submit the required enrollment fee.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition rates at Boca Raton Christian School vary depending on the grade level. For the academic year 2026-2027, the tuition schedule is as follows:

  • PreK3/PreK4 Full Day: $10,890
  • PreK3/PreK4 Half Day: $8,305
  • Kindergarten: $13,255
  • Elementary (Grades 1-5): $14,300
  • Middle School (Grades 6-8): $15,730
  • High School (Grades 9-12): $18,150

For the academic year 2025-2026, the tuition schedule is as follows:

  • PreK3/PreK4 Full Day: $11,660
  • PreK3/PreK4 Half Day: $8,900
  • Kindergarten: $14,190
  • Elementary (Grades 1-5): $15,290
  • Middle School (Grades 6-8): $16,830
  • High School (Grades 9-12): $19,360

Boca Raton Christian School understands that affording private education can be a challenge for some families. To address this, BRCS offers financial assistance programs and accepts state-funded scholarships.

Financial Assistance Program

Students must be enrolled or re-enrolled at BRCS to apply for financial aid through their FACTS Family Portal. Kindergarten Students with an FTC, FES-EO, or FES-UA Scholarship are not eligible for financial aid. Students with an FES-UA Scholarship are not eligible for financial assistance regardless of grade level.

Florida State Scholarship

Boca Christian offers financial assistance and accepts state-funded scholarships from Step Up for Students, a scholarship-funding organization. Apply through Step Up for Students to determine eligibility for the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) or the Family Empowerment Scholarship - Educational Opportunities (FES-EO).
