Bloom Early Learning Curriculum: Nurturing Young Minds for Lifelong Success
Early childhood education is crucial for laying the foundation for lifelong learning and development. Bloom Early Learning provides a nurturing environment where children engage in hands-on learning, growing into confident, capable, and caring students. Excellence starts here! Bloom welcomes young minds from infancy to early childhood, laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.
A Warm and Inviting Environment
Bloom Early Learning & Child Care believes that all children need and deserve a loving, nurturing start in life - and that early learning is the key to lifelong success. Our philosophy is based upon the idea that learning is fun when children are engaged in a warm, inviting environment that provides opportunities to explore, create, and experiment. The stimulating classroom is filled with toys, mirrors, large pictures, and baskets full of books that encourage the babies to explore and discover the world around them.
Bloom Early Learning is located at 7604 New Town Road, Waxhaw NC 28173 on the four acre property of Bethel Christian Fellowship. *Please note that Bloom Early Learning is not affiliated with the church.
Comprehensive Programs for Every Age
Bloom warmly welcomes infants as young as 8 weeks and children up to 6 years old. With a dedicated and experienced team, Bloom offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to ensure that every child is kindergarten-ready. An integrated curriculum has been specially designed to best fit the needs of children. Teachers create theme-based weekly lesson plans based on ongoing assessments. Using an inclusive care approach, they take each child’s interests and development needs into account as they create real-life learning experiences for the classrooms.
Infant Program
The infant program provides a nurturing environment for the youngest learners to explore and discover the world around them.

Toddler Program (16-36 Months)
The Bloom Toddler Program caters to the very specific needs of children between 16 months and 36 months. This age is full of exploration and huge growth in language and social skills. Learning and living is so exciting for young toddlers. They are ambitious, helpful, eager to learn, and intelligent. Our toddler class was created with little learners in mind. With each passing month toddlers begin to test their boundaries and assert their independence and they make huge strides in how they communicate and socialize with their parents, teachers and peers.
Preschool Program (3-4 Years)
Our Preschool Program introduces children to the important next steps in early learning and kindergarten readiness. As children turn three, they become more aware of their role in the world around them and have increased social interactions with their peers and adults. As they turn four, they begin to master the skills and tools they will need to succeed when they enter kindergarten. Bloom’s Preschool Program is a comprehensive collection of rich resources that offer moment-to-moment support designed to help children explore science, social studies, writing activities, reading and phonics skills and math concepts through daily discovery-based, open-ended activities.
The Creative Curriculum® and Supporting Tools
Centered upon The Creative Curriculum®, our programs emphasize exploration and discovery as a way of learning. Our supporting curriculum tools include Second Step® Social-Emotional Learning, which helps teach the important social emotional and self-regulation skills children need for success in kindergarten and beyond. We incorporate lessons from Learning About Nutrition through Activities (LANA) into our curriculum to encourage children to make healthy food choices through fun experiences. The Virtues Project® is another very important tool we use at our centers. It emphasizes basic values that build character and responsibility.
Hands-on Learning and Enrichment
In addition to the activities carefully planned by the teachers in each group, our Curriculum Coordinator creates hands-on learning activities for each age group that focus on building literacy, language, phonemic awareness, math, and problem solving skills. Enrichment classes will enhance our learning at Bloom.
A Focus on Play-Based Learning
We believe that children learn best through play, and that is the foundation for our curriculum. Research, as well as our experience, shows that true play-based learning is intentional, inviting, and impactful. Children will work toward developmental milestones and school readiness using engaging, age-appropriate activities that are designed to teach specific skills. With a balanced approach that combines a well-developed curriculum and hands on learning, we strive to make learning FUN! Our curriculum extends into the physical space at our centers because we believe children learn best when they are engaged. Each classroom is set up differently to complement the ages and interests of our children. Engaging in educational experiences help our students build the neural pathways that shape future cognitive abilities.
