It begins with one week of training after which point you’ll be staffed on a real case team where your background, opinion, and insights matter. You’ll own a distinct piece of that project and solve a challenging problem as a group.

Summer Associate Internship

This internship is tailored for MBA candidates and advanced degree candidates and is an interesting position. Summer Associate interns are considered more senior than other interns and are given greater responsibilities, often leading or co-leading a workstream. We invite MBA candidates to join in one of our offices for a summer-long paid internship to understand the exciting life of a strategy consultant. The details vary by office, but all programs will offer an opportunity to be staffed on a case team doing real client work that allows to have an impact and hone skills.

Other Internship and Program Opportunities

In addition to the Associate Consultant and Summer Associate internships, Bain offers various other programs, such as ADvantage, BainConnect, and Bainworks, which provide opportunities to experience the firm's culture, build networks, and receive mentorship from Bain leaders.
