The total cost is the sticker price, plus the cost of food and housing, books and supplies, and transportation and personal expenses. Albany Medical College: Tuition, Fees, and Budgeting
The following is meant to provide information on the costs of attending Albany Medical College. All expenses and/or fees, including tuition, are subject to change without notice. In 2024-2025, the cost was $2,812 per 3-credit course. Course tuition for the Better Doctoring program was $2,500 and included registration and online access to seminar materials. Refunds were given if withdrawal from the seminar occurred prior to the first day of class.
The 2024-2025 annual tuition for full-time matriculated students in the basic sciences was $28,992, or $14,496 per semester.

Standard Budget Allowances
The following standard budget allowances represent the amount established by the Albany Medical College Financial Aid and Student Services Committees as reasonable costs for attending Albany Medical College. Financial Aid at Albany Medical College
A student's financial aid is determined by their specific need and income. Need-based scholarships and grants come from a variety of sources. When students complete the FAFSA, they apply for federal student loans, campus-based funds, and institutional financial aid programs. Students who wish to apply for work-study must contact the Financial Aid Office and request to be considered for a work-study assignment.
The Financial Aid Office assists in administering funds from federal, state, institutional and private funding sources primarily based on need. Financial aid is defined as any monetary support other than student/family resources for purposes of meeting educational costs.
Scholarships from Albany Medical College
As part of your Albany Medical College financial aid award package, you may receive a scholarship from Albany Medical College. These scholarships are stewarded by the Albany Medical Center Foundation. Each year when a student applies for financial aid by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and an Albany Medical College Financial Aid Form, the student is automatically considered an applicant for an institutional scholarship.

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS): Tuition and Fees
Below are the 2025-2026 tuition, mandatory fees and additional costs for Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. This applies to two Pharmacy Early Assurance Program years and all years of the BS programs. Pharmacy Early Assurance and BS tuition is charged at a rate of $1,380 per credit hour on a part-time basis (11 credit hours or less).
P1-P4 refers to the first, second, third and fourth professional years of the Doctor of Pharmacy program. This represents the third-sixth years for students who enter ACPHS from high school. The P1-P4 tuition is charged at a rate of $1,600 per credit hour on a part-time basis (eight credit hours or less). The full-time (nine credit hours or more) tuition charge is $23,950 per semester. Tuition is charged at a rate of $1,600 per credit hour for graduate courses. The maximum total per semester is $23,950, which applies to graduate students taking 15 or more credit hours. The amount will vary based on the choice of meal plan.
Financial Aid and Payment Options at ACPHS
The Net Price Calculator (NPC) serves as a guide to assist families in early financial planning for college. The ACPHS Online Financial-Aid System allows you to manage your financial aid with ease. You can check the status of your offer; view received and outstanding documents; accept, reduce or decline your aid; and review your student-loan history. Formerly known as Cashnet, you can enroll in a payment plan to pay your tuition and fees in smaller, more manageable monthly installments.
Payment Policies and Consequences of Non-Payment
Tuition and fees are available on a student’s account upon registration of each new semester or academic session. It is the responsibility of the student to pay all tuition and fees assessed as a result of registration at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Payment in full will be due by the date indicated on the billing statement. Students will be permitted to attend classes and use College facilities only after they have settled their financial obligation to the College.
The Student Accounts Office will defer charges up to the amount of the student’s approved financial aid awards and/or confirmed college payment-plan enrollment. Any balance not paid or covered by financial aid and/or payment plan by the due date listed on the billing statement, will be assessed a monthly late fee of $100. This includes students with late receipt of financial-aid awards and students whose accounts are paid by a third party.

Failure to comply for 30 days after the bill due date will result in student suspension, cancellation of course registration, denial of access to all campus facilities (computer accounts, library, residence halls, meal plan, fitness center, etc.) and the inability to register for courses for the subsequent term. A financial hold will remain on the student’s account until all prior semester charges have been paid in full.
Any check used to pay tuition and fees that is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) may result in the cancellation of the current term registration. A $25 NSF fee will be charged to the student’s account. If, within 180 days after the last date of attendance, payment in full is not received, the account will be turned over to a collection agency. In addition, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will request that the bad debt be listed on a national credit-rating report.
Understanding Form 1098-T
Form 1098-T is a statement that colleges and universities are required to issue to certain students. Albany College of Health Sciences partners with ECSI to process 1098-T tax forms. If you prefer to retrieve your tax form electronically, please visit ESCI, then click “Register” in the top right corner of the page to create a profile. If you have not received your form, you can retrieve it electronically by visiting ESCI.
There could be many reasons for a discrepancy between the amount you paid and what is reported on Form 1098-T. First, the amount in Box 1 represents amounts paid for qualified tuition and related expenses (QTRE), such as tuition and fees required by the institution to be enrolled, and does not include payments made for other charges such as room and board, insurance, meal plans or parking, for example, which are not considered mandatory education expenses for tax purposes, regardless of whether the fee must be paid for the enrollment of the student at the institution.
Secondly, Form 1098-T reports amounts that the student paid in a certain year, and the pay date does not necessarily correspond to dates when classes were attended. For example, tuition for the Spring semester is typically billed in December so a student may have paid tuition for the Spring semester in 2023 despite the fact that classes did not start until 2024. Albany Law School: Tuition and Financial Aid
Albany Law School offers various online graduate programs with specific tuition rates. The cost of attendance for an Online Graduate Program student includes the direct cost of tuition and fees, as well as indirect costs, such as books, a modest living allowance, transportation and personal expenses.
- The 2025-26 rate for the 30-credit Master of Science program is $1,671/credit.
- The 2025-26 rate for the 24-credit Master of Laws program is $2,111/credit.
- The 2025-26 rate for new students entering into the 9-credit Advanced Certificate program is $1,671/credit.
