We enhanced the FreeU program in 2024 to provide more support services, including tutoring. We also increased the list of eligible schools with more available start dates, and we expanded our education goals. In addition to a bachelor's degree, employees can use the program to earn an associate degree, technical trade certifications, or academic credit-bearing certifications. When you enroll, Abbott will pay 100% of the cost of tuition, required core classes, textbooks, and academic advising, up to $7,000 per calendar year.
